Ensure efficient mobilization and deployment of volunteers during emergencies
Send out critical alerts and notifications related to incidents and mobilizations
Maintain records of volunteer activities and skills for proper response coordination

The PRC-DCC may use SMS notifications to communicate urgent information to volunteers. All messages are related to volunteer activities and emergencies.

Data Security

We take the security of personal information seriously. The system employs several measures to protect volunteer data:

Access to the system is restricted to authorized personnel only
Two-factor authentication is required for volunteer and admin access
Data is encrypted and securely stored in the cloud using Supabase
Audit logs track all changes and access to sensitive data

Data Retention

Volunteer data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. Inactive volunteers may request to have their personal information removed from the system, subject to organizational policies.

Sharing of Information

The PRC-DCC does not share personal information with third parties except when required by law or necessary for volunteer mobilization during emergencies. We may share limited information with government agencies or partner organizations for coordinated disaster response efforts.

Volunteer Rights

Volunteers have the right to access, update, or request deletion of their personal information. Any inquiries or requests should be directed to the PRC-DCC administration.
